***The 2nd Annual Sleepy Hollow Clubhouse Cornhole Tournament has been fully subscribed! The tournament is once again in high demand and thus in an effort to allow expanded participation we are opening up registration for 4 additional teams.

The Second Annual Sleepy Hollow Clubhouse Cornhole Tournament will take place over three days beginning on Friday, September 9th. The sign up will go live on Friday, August 26th at noon so be on the lookout as we had a waiting list last year.
Please register 1 time as a team. Include your team name as well as the first and last names of both players.
A few updates to the format this year. With a nod to the upcoming World Cup, we will be using a "Group Play" format in the initial round. The teams will be broken up into 4 "Groups" and every team will play at least 3 games against teams in their Group. At the end of Group Play the top two teams (based on wins/losses and net points scored) will emerge to compete in the Elimination Rounds (Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals and Finals). More details to come on format and rules, the general format is as follows:

Friday, September 9th:
4:30pm (looking at you John Richard) opening Ceremony
National Anthem, and
Tossing of the First Bag
5:00pm until Dark
Group Play Games
Find teams in your group and play your games, volunteers will be on premises to coordinate
Saturday, September 10th:
3:00pm until Dark
Group Play Games (continued)
Find teams in your group and play your games, volunteers will be on premises to coordinate
Pool will be open for the kids (lifeguard on duty)
Sunday, September 11th:
3:30pm until Champion is Crowned
Pool will be open for the kids (lifeguard on duty)
Elimination Rounds (Final 8 teams)
Champion is Crowned and Awarded .......
The cost to enter the tournament will be $50/team. At least 3 games guaranteed for each team. Proceeds go to the ongoing Community Center capital project.
As with last year, we encourage creativity around team names and outfits. Winners will receive Sleepy Hollow swag and their names will be placed on the Cornhole Tournament Champion Plaque that will be hung in the clubhouse.
We look forward to another fun tournament and community event. If you don't play cornhole but want to be involved there are volunteer opportunities and you can always come out and support your friends in their quest for neighborhood glory. We will also have tournament brackets that can be filled out with the winner also receiving a prize.
The snack bar will be open on all of the tournament days with beer, wine, soda and kids snacks & juice boxes for purchase.
