The Bulb and Battery Take Back Program

The Pubic Works Department of the County of Marin is spreading the word about a new and free Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Program for residents called "Bulb and Battery Take-Back Program".

The goal is to reduce and eliminate the amount of illegally disposed of hazardous waste from household products like florescent bulbs, tubes and batteries. 10 local businesses have volunteered to serve as convenient collection points for residents to drop off their spent tubes, bulbs and batteries.
